To receive task reminders, you need to enable notifications:

1. When prompted, tap "Allow" for notifications
2. If you previously denied, go to your browser/system settings to enable them

iOS:

Why is this important?

Battery optimization can prevent Taskre from running in the background and sending notifications. Disabling it ensures you receive timely reminders.

3. Select "Unrestricted" or "Don't optimize"

Alternative method:

1. Settings → Battery → Battery optimization
2. Tap "All apps" from the dropdown

2. Tap "Battery"

Important: Web App Limitations

As a web application, Taskre has inherent limitations:

• ✅ Reliable: When app is open or visible
• ⚠️ Limited: When app is minimized (1-15 minutes)
• ❌ Unreliable: When browser/app is closed

These are browser/OS limitations, not bugs. For best results:

• Keep the app open or pinned in your browser
• Install as PWA and keep it in recent apps
• Check the app periodically throughout the day
• Use "Aggressive Mode" in Settings (uses more battery)

Native mobile apps have better background capabilities, but this is a web app for universal access.

Notifications not working?

• Go to Settings → Troubleshooting → Click "Test Notification"
• Check that notifications are enabled in browser/system settings
• Try "Reinstall Service Worker" in Settings
• Disable battery optimization for your browser or Taskre
• Make sure "Do Not Disturb" mode is off
• Try enabling "Aggressive Mode" in Settings
• Keep the app open or recently used for best results

Notifications stop after a few minutes?

• This is normal on some devices due to battery optimization
• Follow the "Disabling Battery Optimization" steps above
• On iOS, background notifications are very limited
• Consider opening the app periodically to refresh notifications

App not installing?

• Make sure you're using a supported browser (Chrome/Edge recommended)
• Check that you have enough storage space
• Try clearing browser cache and reloading the page

Data not saving?

• Check that you haven't disabled cookies/local storage
• Make sure you have enough storage space
